I really really need my FList's help.

I'm writing a folklore paper on The Little Red Riding Hood and I'm collecting data of various versions/tellings. So I was REALLY HOPING that I can take like, two - five minutes of ANYONE'S time. I just need to know how you heard the story (you're personal version). I've found what she's bringing the grandmother varies, and the ending. Comments will be screened so if anyone actually does respond, their resonses will not influence you. After that, all I need is your name (first is fine - or if you don't want to do that, that's ok), age, and nationality.

My paper is due Tuesday, and I really don't have as much data as I would like. So, I'd love your help.

what?

On the Lord Raglan's hero scale, Harry Potter got an 8. Apparently, according to Dr. Jordan, Lincoln got all 22 points. (I assume if you mix and match with Von Hahn's and Rank's scales.)

I spent most of the day studying for my folklore exam. And my brain has officially died. Maybe I can do better on this exam to make up for my abysmal American Rev exam.

But all I can remember is that we associate the number three with many many many things. So many things come in threes, it's ridiculous. I hope one of the twenty essay questions is "List ten things that come in threes." I would ace that one.

In French Rev, Dr. Munson walked in and asked how many people were sick. Several rose their hands. Then he said "You can tell Sarah's sick because she's wearing her ski cap." Haha, just cold Dr. Munson.

Lost was cool tonight. I missed the first eleven minutes of it because I'm not used to remembering I actually watch something on TV again.

Gosh

I know everyone is hating this cold weather, but I love it. I do wish, however, that it would snow. We've only had two instances of flurries that lasted only a few minutes this year. I want at least a couple inches before spring.

I picked up Elizabeth today. Good drive, even though I was really tired. And we listened to Sodagreen...which made me even more tired. We just finished playing a game of monopoly, which I won. I never win. I always always lose. But I won. By quite a lot. Elizabeth gets scary when she plays games and is losing. She wouldn't even let me go to the bathroom.

Had senior sem today. D: not looking forward to that, no sir. I have no idea what I'm going to write the paper on.

Tomorrow, Elizabeth and I are going to watch the last two episodes of Bloody Monday that was uploaded yesterday (!!!!) and I'm going to return my "Sex, Gender, and Sexuality" book because I dropped that class. ... I guess I should email that professor and let her know I dropped it. Hopefully I'll also get some reading done. I'm glad I did that independent study during winter, because I'm finding it a lot easier to get into the groove of things again after break.

Ah, I couldn't sleep last night, so I picked up one of my anthro books, which happened to be a book about American urban legends. After the first legend they were going to analyze, I got a little freaked out and that made trying to fall asleep a little worse, haha. Gonna have to read that one in daylight.

Now I'm gonna go lay in bed and watch the first disc of Smallville season 7 I checked out from the library today. I totally forgot I didn't have time to finish season 6, so I a little lost. Sigh. Oh well.
